Yasuo Kuwahara's account of being a Kamikaze pilot during World War II has recently been criticized by historians Bill Gordon and Yuko Shirako. Gordon and Shirako are authorities on the Kamikaze, and after researching specific details about Kamikaze, make an argument that Kuwahara has fabricated his story.
